Maryland is my beloved home, but it wasn’t always so.
I was born in Miami. My mother was a native Washingtonian and my father, a native New Yorker, was Don Adams
Since they were both entertainers, my childhood-along with my sisters-was rootless as we moved up and down the east coast for my parents’ “gigs”. I attended 16 schools by the time I graduated from The American University in Washington, D.C.
As soon as I could, I put down roots here in Maryland, and now they are 46 years deep.
My favorite thing? Nature. Being out in nature, hiking the woods, sitting by a river, looking at the world from a mountaintop . . . these things are spiritual food for me. It’s no wonder that so many couples choose to have their weddings in nature settings, especially on the water.
Although raised Catholic, I consider that I was always a spiritual seeker, always questioning, which eventually led me to enroll in the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center where I completed the five year course of study and earned ordination. I officiated my first wedding in 2002 and found that I loved it! Each one is joyfully unique, and each couple holds a place in my heart, always. I look forward to getting to know the couples who are in my future!
