Getting Started
Getting started on your wedding ceremony plans with me is easy! Upon contact, I will set up a time to meet, get acquainted, and discuss your ceremony needs and vision. It all starts with a chat at my kitchen table.
If you decide you would like me to officiate your ceremony, a $100.00 non-refundable retainer secures the date(s) and time(s). (Plural if rehearsal is included)
A ceremony booklet will then be provided to you with information about the structure of the ceremony, including selections and choices for each part of the ceremony, including; Vows, Rituals, Readings, Ring Blessings and Exchanges, etc.
This is the body of material used as a foundation for the co-creation of your unique ceremony. You are in no way confined to these materials, and may use anything you wish from any other source. I am completely open and flexible, as well as sincerely committed to guiding and assisting you, so that the final ceremony is exactly what you want.
Once you have made your selections, a draft of the ceremony will be prepared and sent to you for approval or editing.
Two weeks prior to the ceremony date, the Marriage License and balance of the fee are due.
After the ceremony, the Marriage License is signed and returned to you. The remaining paperwork is sent to the appropriate Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county in which the wedding has taken place.
Fees range between $400.00 – $750.00. Elopement fees start at $175.00
