Wedding Rehearsals
Wedding ceremony rehearsals are not included in the standard package, and for most weddings is not really necessary unless you have a large wedding party (12+) and if your ceremony includes several complicated rituals (moving parts!).
The majority of couples choose not to have a rehearsal or to run their own ceremony rehearsals since they are primarily practicing walking in and out and not the ceremony itself. If it is important to you to have me present at the rehearsal, a separate contract is required and pricing depends on the date, time, and most of all-location of the rehearsal. Weekday rehearsals can be requested/contracted at the time of booking, while weekend (Fri-Sun) rehearsals can only be booked within 30 days of the ceremony and are dependent on availability.
When couples are having a rehearsal at which I am not present, I provide written directions and a detailed outline that is easy to follow. I gather all the information (names of everyone in the wedding party, where they are standing, and names of those being formally seated (parents, grandparents). It is from this information that I create and provide the rehearsal instructions. The rehearsal should only take about 20 minutes-if everyone is there on time!
